Job summary

Covenant House Toronto is hiring a Registered Nurse for its healthcare clinic serving at-risk, homeless, and trafficked youth. The role focuses on primary and mental health care within a nurse-led team, using a trauma-informed, strength-based approach.

We operate a 35-hour week with shifts Monday–Sunday, 8:30am–8:30pm, and emphasize collaboration across disciplines to support youth goals and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Preference for primary care experience with homeless/at-risk youth.
• Experience in strengths-based, trauma-informed, harm-reduction care is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and mental health care to youth during nursing visits.
• Perform nursing acts per College standards and Covenant House policies.
• Triage for NPs/physicians/psychiatrists and support care delivery.
• Develop individualized care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
