Job summary

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre seeks an Eating Disorder Clinician to deliver in-depth psychosocial assessments for children, teens and families affected by eating disorders. You will identify strengths and risk, and plan interventions within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include individual, family and group therapy using CBT and Family Based Therapy, education, crisis support, and referrals to community resources.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work or related field; eligible for professional registration.
• Experience with CBT and family-based therapies for eating disorders preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments identifying strengths and family dynamics.
• Collaborate with the MDT to develop and implement intervention plans.
• Deliver individual, family and group therapies (CBT/FBT) for eating disorders.
• Provide education, crisis intervention and advocacy; refer to supports as needed.
• Travel between Eating Disorder sites as required.
