Job summary

The Psychologist at Lakeridge Health Whitby provides psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment to children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team and families. The role emphasizes evidence-based care in an outpatient setting within a hospital program.

You will work days, on a temporary part-time basis, 8 shifts of 4 hours, with a wage schedule of CAD 61.50–79.75 per hour. Applicants must have a Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D in Psychology.
• Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
• Experience in outpatient setting within a brief acute care model.
• Substantial training and experience in eating disorders with adolescents and adults.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic/formulation skills; individual and group psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment to children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide ongoing psychological treatment to families and parents of children/adolescents and adults referred to the program.
• Work collaboratively with team members and community partners; perform related duties as assigned.
