Enviros is developing the Stride program, a therapeutic, family-based model for youth with trauma-informed care needs. The Youth Connector will build relationships, provide one-to-one time, and support community connections, including weekend and evening work where required.

Enviros is excited to be developing this newest model of care in the Child Intervention System. Stride is a therapeutic family based, culturally safe, short term out of home placement program intended to support youth with complex trauma-impacted care needs. This model is a wraparound service that incorporates a Therapeutic Caregiver, as the primary change agent, working within a Therapeutic Team, including cultural supports to provide individualized trauma informed supports.
Working collaboratively with Caregivers, Team, and Circle members, the Youth Connector’s primary responsibility is to build relationships with youth and support their connection with the community. For most youth, this will include regular one-to-one time, especially early in placement. This role may have logistical functions (e.g., support during school suspension), recreational functions (e.g., activity finder, activity partner), and facilitative functions (e.g., supporting cultural connections, visit supervision). This position will require some weekend and evening work but the schedule is flexible.
