Job summary

Linck Child, Youth and Family Supports requires five Supported Living Service Workers for part-time, contract roles lasting one year. Staff cover 32-64 hours bi-weekly across day, afternoon and midnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Role involves caring for children and youth, providing supervision, programming and guidance. You will collaborate with the care team to support placement, treatment, or alternate living options in a warm, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in child and youth work or related field is required.
• Up to three months related experience may be considered.
• Current First Aid, CPR and CPI certificates are required.
• Computer and keyboarding skills with word-processing proficiency are needed.
• Tact and discretion are required to handle requests and communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, supervision, programming and guidance to children and youth awaiting placement or alternative living options.
• Collaborate with the care team to manage placements and ensure a warm, accepting environment.
