Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports in Ontario seeks a contract Children’s Services Worker to deliver protective and preventive services under the Child Youth and Family Services Act. The role covers a combined adoption and children’s services caseload and requires strong assessment and reporting.
The position is full-time on a 70-hour bi-weekly schedule for one year, with emphasis on cultural competence and community resources.
Linck Child, Youth & Family Supports(“Linck”)requires one (1) Children’s Services Worker. This is a contract, full-time (70 hours bi-weekly) position lasting for a period of one (1) year.
The worker will provide protective and preventative service as mandated under the Child Youth and Family Services Act to families and children; assume complete case management responsibility for a combined adoption and children’s services caseload; assess child functioning; provide therapeutic intervention to children; provide protective services to children which includes: ensuring all of the child’s needs and rights are met; participating as required in Ontario Court of Justice matters pertaining to child protection or youth justice issues; preparing reports, correspondence and documents for internal and external use; providing a variety of services related to adoption.
