Job summary

UFA is hiring a Yard Shipper/Receiver to efficiently receive products at our Alberta location, store them properly, and pick/pack shipments for outbound orders. The role maintains inventory accuracy, assists in forklift operations, and supports safe, compliant yard and warehouse practices.

The candidate will perform cycle counts, load/unload trucks, and may be required to make deliveries. Strong communication and basic POS computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; 1–2 years related experience or 3–5 years without diploma.
• Warehouse/Yard and forklift experience.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg.
• Basic computer proficiency; may be cross trained on POS system; cash handling an asset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be current with WHMIS and TDG certifications.
• Shift work flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all shipping/receiving/inventory functions and ensure accurate daily completion of receiving, shipping, inventory control and IFS requirements.
• Conduct inventory/cycle counts and maintain yard/warehouse appearance.
• Operate materials handling equipment and assist in forklift maintenance.
• Load and unload trucks and follow UFA procedures to secure products.
• Maintain location inventory and ensure safety and operational standards.
• Own the Aisle area to uphold merchandising and inventory standards.
• Make deliveries when required.
