Job summary

Ditech Testing in Alberta is seeking a Yard Helper Associate to support daily yard operations, maintain order and safety, and assist with movement and storage of materials for delivery or pickup.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform routine yard checks, and help with general maintenance while adhering to health and safety policies, with English as the primary language and French as an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Must be able to physically complete required tasks – may include lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stopping, walking or lifting throughout the shift.
• Experience with heavy equipment operations is an asset
• Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or logistics environment is considered an asset.
• Experience using hand tools (drills, sanders etc)
• CSA safety boots
• Language – English is required / Bilingual (French Speaking) is an asset
• Positive Attitude and willingness to learn
• Must be reliable
• Must be safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety throughout the yard and storage areas.
• Load, unload, and move materials, products, and equipment using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Perform routine yard checks as required.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely
• Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist with snow removal, sweeping, waste disposal, and general yard maintenance.
• Support warehouse and operations teams with various tasks as needed.
