Job summary

Berger in Canada is seeking a full-time Yard Foreman to supervise storage and loading activities and to ensure yard safety. You will lead a team, optimize loading and unloading, and manage inventory turnover to meet production targets. This role requires 2 years of experience in loading and storage, prior leadership, and strong teamwork.

Yard Foreman

You’re in luck! We have the perfect position for you! We’re looking for a full-time Yard Foreman. Your leadership and your sense of responsibility make you the ideal person to supervise storage and loading activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring safety in the yard.

JOB SUMMARY:

Supervise storage and loading activities

• Optimize the efficiency and quality of loading and unloading;
• Manage the storage of inputs and notifies the people concerned;
• In charge of inventory turnover.

Receive goods

• Carry out inspection of the product;
• Check and count incoming goods.

Lead Employees

• Maintain a healthy management of the person under your supervision.;
• Assist with training and communication to employees;
• Distribute the workload of his staff and ensures that production is carried out efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• You have 2 years of experience in the field of loading and storage;
• You have experience in a management role and know how to show leadership;
• You have good teamwork skills and a strong sense of responsibility;
• You are able to prioritize and organize;
• You have good computer skills (Windows environment and the Office suite).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Rotating schedule (2 weeks of day shifts, 2 weeks of night shifts)
