Job summary

Berger is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Oakbank team. You will commission and maintain plant equipment, contribute to automation projects, and collaborate with the design team to ensure reliability and efficiency.

You will update electrical plans, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements while working with a dedicated team. The role is a permanent, full-time position with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Background in instrumentation and control technician or industrial electrician with Red Seal certification.
• Experience with work control systems and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Thorough and rigorous approach; strong teamwork.

Electrician

This may be the job for you! As an Electrician, you will be responsible for commissioning equipment in the plant and for improving and maintaining it at our Oakbank facilities. You will be involved in the realization of automation, instrumentation and control projects, in collaboration with our design team.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Complete installation of electrical systems;
• Ensure the proper functioning of the electrical components in the plant according to Berger standards;
• Troubleshooting;
• Work with the design team during this major project or breakdowns;
• Update electrical plans and schematics related to plant equipment;
• You will also be asked to propose ideas for improvement to your supervisor and ensure communication with the right people when problems arise.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• You have a background in instrumentation and control technician or industrial electrician with Red Seal certification;
• You have experience with work control systems and Allen Bradley PLCs;
• You are a thorough and rigorous person in your work and you like teamwork.
