Job summary

Turf & Rec in Middleton, NS is seeking a dedicated Yard/Delivery Person for a full-time role to support equipment transport and delivery between dealer facilities and customers. You will maintain records, assist sales with deliveries, and help keep the yard and wash bays organized and safe.

Ideal candidates will lift up to 75 lbs, have a valid driver's license, and communicate clearly with team members and customers. Forklift training is an asset.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities.
• Support the sales department with equipment delivery as needed.
• Maintain records of pickup and deliveries and obtain signatures and receipts.
• Account for all time and for all distance traveled in performing duties.
• May need to maintain vehicles and related equipment in good condition.
• May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Maintenance of the facilities.
• May maintain tool room or run the wash bay.
• May perform grounds maintenance and keep yard presentable to customers.
• May be required to assist in moving displays or equipment within the dealership.
• Load/unload merchandise and equipment.
• Clean & wash new & used equipment as needed.
• Forklift operation may be required.

We are currently looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Yard / Delivery Person at our Middleton, NS location.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities
