Job summary

Jungbunzlauer Canada Inc. seeks a Xanthan Team Leader to guide the Xanthan Plant's production and operations. You will lead a team of Production Technicians and Blending and Packaging staff, optimize processes, reduce waste, and drive safe, compliant performance.

You will oversee SOPs, training, quality programs, and continuous improvement while ensuring audit readiness and collaboration with maintenance and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in chemical or mechanical engineering tech or related field.
• Experience leading teams in food or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Xanthan Plant production and operations teams to optimize output and minimize waste.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards across all processes.
• Develop and enforce SOPs, training matrices, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with maintenance and cross-functional teams; drive continuous improvement.
