Job summary

El Gaucho Hospitality is seeking a proactive Job Developer to recruit and engage participants for Workforce Development programs. You will build a strong candidate pipeline, support career readiness, and connect qualified candidates with employers and training opportunities.

Collaborating with events, marketing, and program staff, you will manage registrations, coordinate outreach, conduct pre-screenings, interviews, and provide resume support.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources or equivalent is required.
• Additional formal education in job development and pre-employment skills development is strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in managing relationships, career outreach, recruitment, or employer liaison is required.
• Experience in an outcome-based funded program and cold-calling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support employer outreach and follow-up to identify new job opportunities.
• Recruit and promote Workforce Development programs, Bootcamps, webinars, and workshops.
• Conduct outreach to new and existing participants of Workforce Development Programs.
• Create and manage registration links for Bootcamps, webinars, and workshops, ensuring systems are accurate and accessible.
• Manage participant registrations, candidate intake processes, and maintain applicant records.
• Generate job leads, market clients to employers, and advocate for clients to support outcomes.
• Sourcing candidates through various channels and pre-screening for programs.
• Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates for program entry and suitability.
• Assist in recruitment by conducting interviews and matching candidates with opportunities.
• Provide initial career coaching, employability guidance, and resume support.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and facilitate transitions to staff and services.
• Collaborate with Events and Marketing teams to support Bootcamp delivery and promotions.
• Monitor applications received by email and coordinate communications for participation.
• Communicate with applicants to confirm attendance and provide program information.
• Attend job fairs and events to promote services and recruit participants.
• Maintain comprehensive records and produce timely reports as required.
• Contribute to achieving program goals and KPIs through recruitment and stakeholder engagement.
