Job summary

Dixon Hall is seeking a Job Developer to provide job search support, matching, placement and retention strategies. You will organize job fairs, workshops, and employer events while maintaining regular contact with clients and monitoring outcomes for up to 12 months.

You will work to deliver services in alignment with the organization’s mission, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants and staff in Employment Services.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in marketing or business administration.
• Experience with adult education and trainings is a plus.
• Knowledge of labour market and barriers to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide job search support, job matching, placement and retention strategies.
• Organize job fairs, workshops, and employer events.
• Maintain contact with clients and monitor employment outcomes for up to 12 months.
• Lead group sessions and workshops on employability skills and career development.
• Coordinate with employers and maintain employer database and networks.
