Job summary

El Gaucho Hospitality is seeking an Apprenticeship Coordinator to oversee end-to-end onboarding, registration, and progression for apprentices across 15 trades within our Group Sponsor program. You will own the registration process, maintain accurate records, and serve as the primary contact for apprentices and Skilled Trades Ontario (STO).

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Administration, HR, Workforce Development or related field.
• 3-5 years in a similar administrative, program coordination or stakeholder-facing role.
• Experience in skilled trades, apprenticeship, workforce development or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the apprentice intake and onboarding workflow from referral receipt through registration completion.
• Administer follow-ups with apprentices, collect documentation, send reminders, confirm file readiness.
• Complete and submit apprenticeship applications and registrations in the system.
• Manage the apprentice intake inbox and coordinate file setup for processing.
• Communicate with Skilled Trades Ontario regarding registrations, RTAs, schooling, and status updates.
• Coordinate with Trade Managers to prep apprentices for Launch Calls and milestones.
• Schedule Launch Calls and track onboarding status and file readiness.
• Track apprenticeship registration status, schooling offers, enrollment, and progression.
