Job summary

Bruce Power is seeking a qualified HR and Pay Systems Analyst to manage payroll operations within Workday and ensure compliance with Canada payroll legislation. You will lead configuration, testing, reporting, and annual processes, partnering with Finance and HR to deliver accurate, timely payrolls and audit-ready records.

The role requires a four-year university degree and at least six years of payroll experience, with strong Excel skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Four-year university degree required.
• Minimum six years of progressively responsible payroll experience.
• Experience with Workday Payroll is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and process payroll with accuracy and timeliness per legislation and agreements.
• Reconcile payroll data and perform audits and reporting.
• Configure and optimize Workday Payroll and related processes.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure compliance and controls.
• Assist in year-end readiness activities and audits.
