  • Scope, plan, and deliver project outcomes using leading tools and practices (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheets, Monday.com) within agreed timelines, often managing concurrent and competing priorities.
  • Identify and manage complex interdependencies between streams and key partners, ensuring stakeholder engagement plans are aligned across the project.
  • Maintain clear, detailed project documentation, including project plans, reports, and other artifacts.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks/issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders, including executive sponsors, project teams, and business users.
  • Oversee system configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live readiness.
  • Ensure that major decisions, including solution design and scope changes, are approved through the established governance process.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external consultants.
  • Unite diverse and interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and shared objectives.
  • Provide coaching and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Leverage vendor and contractor relationships to ensure the right mix of talent and skills is integrated with internal teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, executive briefings, and status updates.
  • Maintain a strong focus on change management to drive adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Establish clear and consistent communication channels to keep stakeholders engaged and informed, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Cross-Program Collaboration
  • Coordinate with other large-scale transformation initiatives to ensure integration and alignment.
  • Identify interdependencies and manage shared resources and timelines.
  • Participate in enterprise governance forums and working groups.
Privacy, Cybersecurity & Architecture Alignment
  • Ensure project activities comply with privacy legislation and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and data teams to ensure scalable, secure system design.
  • Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to data protection.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, HR, Finance, or related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or community care settings is highly desirable.
Skills & Experience
  • 5–8 years of experience leading large-scale ($1M+), strategic, cross-departmental projects with technical complexity and third-party vendors, including 2+ years leading Workday implementations.
  • Proven success implementing Workday Payroll and managing complex pay structures.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Financials, and Reporting.
  • Experience working within privacy, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with unionized environments and healthcare workforce models.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Superior analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address issues proactively.
  • Skilled at working independently and collaboratively, using sound judgment and simplifying complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
