Job description

This position is responsible for the strategy, optimization, enhancement, and maintenance of the company’s Global HR Information System (Workday) and other HR-supported systems. The role involves leading the HRIS team, managing projects, and collaborating with global teams. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert to ensure data integrity, system implementations, configurations, testing, report writing, and process improvement analyses.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, delivery, and administration of the HRIS system (Workday).
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for core HCM modules, including Recruiting, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Performance & Goals, Talent, and Integrations.
  • Manage HR system projects, processes, improvements, and change management activities.
  • Handle user permissions, access controls, training, and system configurations to ensure security and usability.
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies and processes, assessing impacts on HRIS.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and business leaders.
  • Build and lead a strong HRIS team through recruiting, training, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships and renewals related to HRIS.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of technical Workday experience, including implementations and configurations.
  • Experience with Workday advanced compensation; time tracking and absence modules are advantageous.
  • Expertise in Workday EIB, Calculated Fields, Report Writer; XML and XSLT knowledge highly desirable.
  • Workday certifications are a plus.
  • Over 4 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Leadership or management experience is beneficial.
  • Experience in creating training content and delivering presentations preferred.
  • Strong skills in prioritization, project management, planning, and organization.
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
