Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Workday Analyst to deliver operational HR data and system functions, with a primary focus on HR data quality and Workday security, integrations, and reporting.

You will serve as the Workday technical SME for HCM modules, participate in complex issue resolution with Payroll, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors, and lead system updates and testing. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of Workday experience are required, with CAD 80,000–90,000 base

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 4+ years maintaining and enhancing integrations using Studio, API, EIB and Connectors; Workday Security and Reporting experience.
• 2+ years of full-cycle Workday implementations; hands-on with Report writer, worksheets, and Discoverboard.
• Technical knowledge of Workday HCM, Recruitment, Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits modules; Payroll experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Workday technical SME for Security, Integrations, and Reporting.
• Act as the escalation point for complex issues across Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits).
• Lead updates, testing, and rollout of system releases; coordinate with Payroll, Finance, IT, and vendors.
• Develop HR process requirements, support full-cycle Workday implementations, and drive data quality and SOPs.

This role will primarily support with Human Capital Management (HCM) system administration, processing and Human Resource Metrics and Reporting. This role will be the Workday technical user for maintaining the HR system and HR data quality.This is a highly technical role that requires strong experience with Workday . The successful candidate will serve as functional lead for security, reporting, managing configurations, integrations (Studio, API, EIB, Connectors), audits, and releases, and will partner with various organizational stakeholders to design, configure, test, and deploy solutions that support critical functions across the organization.Status: This posting is for a new vacancy.Role and Responsibilities:Act as Workday technical subject matter expert with hands on expert knowledge of Security, Integrations, and Reporting Act as point of contact for complex issues across applicable Workday modules such as, but not limited to, HCM, absence, time tracking, payroll, benefits, recruitingAct as point of escalation for system errors or failures while partnering with Payroll, Finance, IT and/or third party vendors to resolve issues as neededAct as lead for Workday updates such as review of system release notes, plan and coordinate testing, and rollout of system releasesSupport technical requirement development of HR processes and Workday full-cycle implementations, including but not limited to, new modules, mergers and acquisitions, divestment, reorganization and/or restructuringSupport with change management, communication, training development and executionAssist in HR processes harmonization and improvement initiativesDocument system Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)Recommend data enrichment practices and perform regular data cleansing of the Workday systemSupport with SOX/Audit compliance deliverables in conjunction with internal & external auditorsSupport the day-to-day execution of work, including management of HRIS’s ticketing inboxQualifications and Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in related fieldFour (4) years of current work experience in the maintenance and enhancement of integration that involves Studio, API, EIB and Connector, Workday Security and Workday ReportingTwo (2) years Workday full cycle system implementation and hands-on experience in suing Workday Report writer, worksheets, and discover boardMust have technical knowledge and configuration experience on Workday HCM, Recruitment, Absence, Time Tracking, and Benefits modulesWorkday Payroll experience is an added advantageAdvanced proficiency in Excel (if statements, nested formulas, vlookups, xlookups, countif, pivot tables, macros)Technical mindset – integration between business needs and HR technology solutionsBasic understanding of the different HR functional concepts and processesDemonstrable ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentialityAbility to work under pressure, prioritize, multi-task, and work extended hours to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently in global, cross-regional and cross-functional capacityAttention to detail in managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously with minimal supervisionProposes solutions and constantly follows through to solve complex problems in a busy environmentCompensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is CAD $80,000-$90,000.
