Job summary

Clintar Winnipeg is seeking on-call, part-time snow removal staff to manage winter duties for commercial properties. You will operate a pickup truck towing a skid steer to clear roads and parking areas, while keeping sites clean and reporting conditions to supervisors.

Shifts may include overnight work and weekends; a Class 3 licence is preferred. The team follows strict health and safety rules, with a season-end bonus for full-shift commitments and direct deposit payments.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in previous snow removal role.
• Role demands flexible hours, often overnight, including weekends and holidays.
• On-call availability from November – April.
• Class 3 licence preferred.
• Cell phone data with data required.

Responsibilities

• Operate pickup truck pulling a skid steer from site to site to clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots and other designated areas.
• Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal.
• Respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
• Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered.
• Work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms, and potentially at night, to ensure timely snow removal.
• Maintain records of work completed, including time logs, equipment maintenance records, and reports on materials used.
• Load own truck
