Job summary

Mainroad Group in British Columbia is seeking Snow Plow Truck Drivers for a seasonal role based out of Fairmont from October to April 2027. You'll operate and drive sanding, plowing, and salting trucks during snow events and must be able to work on-call, 24/7 including graveyard shifts.

Qualifications include a Class 1 or 3 license with Air Brake endorsement, clean abstract, ability to drive tandem truck and operate a loader, willingness to work in extreme weather, and strong safety and

• Willing to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Previous experience in construction and/or highway maintenance is an asset.
• Mechanical skills and ability to learn quickly.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Safety inclined.

Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting LP is currently looking for Snow Plow Truck Drivers. This seasonal position will be based out of Fairmont from October until approximately April 2027.

Operators must have the ability to work on call shifts 24/7, including graveyard shifts. They will be responsible for operating & driving sanding, plowing, and salting trucks during snow events.

The successful candidates shall have the following qualifications:

• Class 1 or 3 driver's license with Air Brake Endorsement and a clean driver's abstract
• Ability to drive a tandem truck and trailer and operate a loader
• Willing to work in extreme weather conditions
