Job summary

IG Wealth Management, part of IGM Financial, is looking for an intern for the Winter term (January–April 2027) in Winnipeg. You will join the Reporting & Analytics team to help design dashboards, analyze data, and automate reporting tasks.

Eligibility: registered students returning to school in 2027 in business analytics, information systems, computer science, or operations. This is a full-time, hybrid role with 37.5 hours weekly and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be registered students returning to school in 2027 in a related field such as business analytics, information systems, computer science, operations.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Looker and other analytics tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Automate, or Python is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to team projects and collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Support the design and development of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
• Collect, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate reporting and business processes.

Position

The Reporting & Analytics team is currently hiring an intern looking for a Winter term position, January to April 2027. Candidates in an undergraduate program, returning to school after the internship are eligible to apply.

This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be eligible to work full-time for the entire duration of the program.

The successful candidate will join the Reporting & Analytics team within Enterprise Services & Contact Centres.

We partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics solutions. We analyze data, develop dashboards, and automate processes that improve efficiency and support informed decision-making.

This internship offers hands‑on experience working on real business challenges through data analysis, dashboard development, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The expected annual base salary range (prorated for the term) for this role is $44,000 - $47,000 which is determined based on year of study, IGM program, geographic location and candidate’s skills, knowledge and experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for paid time off.
