Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is offering winter seasonal road maintenance opportunities across Alberta from October 1 to April 30, with potential for year‑round employment.

If you hold a Class 1, 2 or 3 license and want to work for a company that values safety, community and career growth, we want to hear from you! You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment, perform highway maintenance tasks in all weather, and contribute to keeping Alberta’s highways safe.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
• Physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1, 2 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement is required.
• Clear 3-year driving abstract is required.
• Experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways including Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, signage cleaning, hazard remediation).
• Work outside in all weather conditions.

Skills

Class 1/2/3 license with air

3-year driver’s abstract

Snowplow/Wheel loader experience

Physically capable (up to 50 lbs)

Drug alcohol pre-employment test
