Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is hiring for winter seasonal road maintenance across Alberta from October 1 to April 30, with potential for year-round work.

You will operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment to keep Alberta highways safe, often outdoors in all weather.

Applicants should have a valid Class 1, 2 or 3 license with air endorsement and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pre-employment drug testing applies, and benefits and RRSPs are provided.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1–3 driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Clear 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Snowplow truck and/or wheel loader experience is a strong asset, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways and assist Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, etc.).
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
