Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is recruiting for winter seasonal road maintenance roles across Alberta from October 1 to April 30, with potential for year-round employment. Ideal candidates hold a Class 1, 2 or 3 license and are prepared to operate snowplows and heavy equipment in diverse winter conditions.

Positions include benefits, training, RRSPs and career growth opportunities within Ledcor. Base hourly rates range from 27.25 to 31.75 CAD, with premiums starting at 8 CAD and 14 CAD for winter

Qualifications

• License required: Class 1/2/3 with air endorsement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
• Previous snowplow or wheel loader experience is a strong asset, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways and assist with Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, etc.).
• Work outside in all weather conditions and shifts, including on-call and night shifts.
