Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort Company is seeking a Winter Grounds Worker for the Blue Mountains, Ontario location. The role involves maintaining resort grounds, general maintenance and landscaping, and snow removal to ensure safety and guest satisfaction.

The position requires a high school diploma, physical fitness, and the ability to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks such as shoveling. An asset is a valid G-class driver's license and knowledge of the resort.

Qualifications

• Valid Class G Driver's License an asset.
• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Must be physically fit; ability to lift and carry heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks (shoveling, bending, stretching, walking, kneeling).
• Experience with snow removal an asset.
• Knowledge of the Resort an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort grounds to the highest standards through general maintenance and landscaping.
• Perform snow removal using shovels or snow blowers; apply ice melt or sand as needed.
• Conduct ice patrols and assess hazards for guest and staff safety.
• Record detailed notes on activities and material usage during shift; perform basic equipment maintenance.
