Blue Mountain Resort, owned by Alterra Mountain Company, seeks a Groomer II to maintain skiable terrain using groomer vehicles. The role requires 3+ years of grooming experience, valid G license, and experience with heavy equipment.

You will work overnight shifts as part of Full Time hours in Ontario, Canada. Expect collaboration with Snowmaking, Slope Maintenance, Patrol and other teams, with training duties and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid G license in good standing
• 3+ years grooming experience
• Experience with heavy equipment is an asset
• Mechanical skills are an asset
• Knowledge of resort winter terrain is an asset

Responsabilités

• Groom slopes using groomer vehicles to maintain skiable terrain on time
• Operate with terrain park or winch cat experience
• Work in challenging weather and around structures
• Perform pre-shift checks and post-shift housekeeping and paperwork
• Use GPS to improve decisions and efficiency
• Identify and report safety issues like lighting or signs
• Collaborate with on-hill teams such as Snowmaking and Patrol
• Assist in training new staff and back-up Team Lead
