Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is seeking an entry-level Groomer I to maintain ski and snowboard terrain using groomer equipment. The role focuses on keeping runs in top condition and may involve supporting higher-tier teams during busy periods.

The position requires a valid G License, independence, and a willingness to learn grooming techniques. Overnight, 12-hour shifts run December through March, offering seasonal full-time hours and a mountain-work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid G License in good standing.
• Ability to work independently.
• Grooming experience is an asset.
• Mechanical skills are an asset.
• Knowledge of resort winter terrain is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Groom primarily green and blue runs and assist others on difficult terrain.
• Perform pre shift circle checks and post shift duties including housekeeping and paperwork.
• Recognize and report equipment issues and property damage.
• Use GPS system to improve decision making and efficiency.
• Identify and report safety issues including lighting, signage, padding and surfaces.
