Job summary

IG Wealth Management is seeking an Analyst Intern for a winter term position in Winnipeg, MB, January to April 2027. You will work with the Corporate Compensation team on technology solutions for employees, with a 37.5-hour week and eligibility to work full-time for the duration of the program.

You will assist with business analysis, QA, data interpretation, and AI-enabled workflows, leveraging tools like Copilot and Power BI, in a collaborative team-driven environment. Paid time off is included.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a business, technology, computer science, data analytics, or related post-secondary program.
• Demonstrated interest in technology, business analysis, data analytics, and AI-enabled ways of working.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or other AI tools is considered an asset.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, Git, or data analysis tools is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify solutions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution documentation.
• Support quality assurance activities, including test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking.
• Analyze and interpret data to support operational processes, troubleshooting, and decision making.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, documentation, analysis, and operational processes.
• Support configuration and administration activities within Corporate Compensation applications and related technology platforms.
• Participate in solution development, testing, implementation, release management, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.
