Job summary

Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is seeking a Winter Analyst for a 4-month term in Toronto. You will join the Corporate Banking team, supporting credit analysis, financial modeling and client presentation preparation within the Deal Team.

You will contribute to the credit approval process, documentation, and portfolio management, gaining exposure to diverse industry groups and product areas. The program emphasizes collaboration and professional development.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field.
• On track to complete undergraduate program no sooner than August 2027.
• Please indicate expected graduation date on resume.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis – conduct in-depth company, industry and portfolio analysis for credit relationships.
• Communication and relationship management – provide timely, well-communicated credit recommendations.
• Financial modelling – run credit-focused financial models and risk-rating evaluations.
