  • Eligible for NATO Secret clearance in a timely manner
  • Candidate must be available for four (4) months, starting January 2027

Standard Job Description

This co-op position is to support the Communications Integrated Product Team within the River Class Destroyer (RCD) Program. The candidate will be joining a multi-disciplined team environment.

The Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Collaborating on system design activities with senior systems engineering and other engineering staff, including supporting technical reviews
  • Performing requirements analysis
  • Reviewing requirements, requirements allocation and trade studies
  • Performing system modelling and design, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • System architecture and design
  • System integration planning
  • Design documentation
  • Planning and managing team tasks in JIRA
  • Managing team information in Confluence
  • Following systems engineering processes and best practices.
Basic Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical members of the engineering/management staff and personnel assigned to related work
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner
  • Candidate must be available for four (4) months, starting January 2027
