Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. is seeking a student developer for the CMS 330 Product Team to retool legacy code in Java and contribute to new features based on stakeholder feedback.
You will collaborate with the product owner, scrum master, and developers in an Agile environment, performing programming in Java and C++, unit tests, and documentation while aligning with internal best practices and security requirements.
The CMS 330 Product Team maintains the inner source components within Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) of the CMS 330 software product. Members of the team are responsible for actions such as: retooling an existing legacy codebase to allow code reuse, while still allowing program customization as needed; improving capabilities of the core product; or designing new features based on stakeholder feedback. Developers on the team will communicate design ideas to the product owner, scrum master, and development team, as well as other stakeholders. They will implement these designs using primarily Java. As an inner source project, the team’s primary stakeholders are internal developers, across multiple in-progress Programs within Lockheed Martin Canada, which are often driven by customer requirements.
