Job summary

SNDL is seeking Sales Associates for Wine & Beyond Red Deer to provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with product selection. You will greet customers, guide them to products, and help drive sales while upholding store standards and policies.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of retail experience, a High School diploma, and ProServe certification. First-Aid is an asset; training in wine/spirits is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience preferred, not required.
• Previous liquor-related experience considered an asset.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ProServe Certification is required.
• First-Aid Certificate is an asset.
• Training in wine/beer/spirits (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to every person who walks into the store.
• Greet customers and assist them to products as needed.
• Educate, advise and suggest products to generate sales.
• Maintain product knowledge through training within required timelines.
• Handle transactions at the POS and follow cash handling policies.
• Participate in merchandising, stock shelves and store maintenance.
