Job summary

TEEMA Group in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to join the Wintel team. You will implement and maintain Windows-based infrastructure, automate tasks with PowerShell, and contribute to DevOps initiatives with Terraform and Ansible in a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years IT Operations experience, strong AD/DNS/DHCP/IIS expertise, and AWS/Grafana/Prometheus exposure. Salary CAD 105,000–135,000 annually with advantages and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related hands-on IT Infra experience focusing on Windows server and automation.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT Operations.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025).
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• IIS configuration/management, Windows Server clustering and HA, security hardening, backup/recovery.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Advanced PowerShell scripting.
• Git version control.
• SCCM for system management.
• 1+ year AWS cloud experience.
• Grafana dashboards and Prometheus or similar time-series DBs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to infrastructure automation, cloud tech, and efficient system management.
• Implement and maintain Windows-based infrastructure components.
• Manage configurations/updates with SCCM.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Support DevOps with IaC via Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor performance and plan capacity for optimal resources.
• Support disaster recovery and high availability implementations.
• Assist AWS cloud deployments.

• Design and maintain Grafana dashboards for infra monitoring.
• Configure monitoring metrics and alerts.
• Lead medium-complexity projects.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

What you will be doing

• The ideal candidate will contribute to our modern IT practices through infrastructure automation, cloud technologies, and efficient system management.

• Implement and maintain Windows-based infrastructure components

• Manage system configurations and updates using SCCM

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation

• Support DevOps initiatives through Infrastructure as Code implementation using Terraform and Ansible

• Monitor system performance and manage capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization

• Support disaster recovery and high availability implementations

• Support AWS cloud service implementations

• Manage system monitoring and alerting systems

What you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related hands-on experience in the IT Infrastructure area, with a focus on Windows server and automation.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT Operations
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025)
• In-depth knowledge of:
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • DNS, DHCP, and file services
  • IIS configuration and management
  • Windows Server clustering and high availability
  • Windows Server administrative best practices and security hardening
  • Windows Server backup and recovery
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with SCCM for system management
• 1+ years of AWS cloud platform experience
• Experience with Grafana dashboard creation and maintenance and Prometheus or other time-series databases

Salary/Rate Range: CAD $105,000 – CAD $135,000
