TEEMA in Toronto, Ontario is seeking an MLOps Developer to collaborate with developers and the DevOps team, overseeing deployments and code releases in a hybrid environment.

You will own the build and deploy pipeline, administer AWS and GCP infrastructure, automate tooling, and work in an agile setting to deliver high-quality ML and software products. The role includes mentoring juniors and adopting new technologies.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related technical fields.
• 5+ years experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer in a cloud development environment.
• 5+ years experience in administering GCP or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps concepts, techniques, tools and culture.
• Expert in UNIX/Linux operating system.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code to manage and provision infrastructure.
• Understanding of Cloud Networking (VPC/Subnets), Load balancers, DNS across environments.
• Experience with secrets management and IAM least privilege design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GCP Cloud Build, etc.
• Familiarity with security and compliance tooling (Guardduty, AWS Config, Crowdstrike, Tanium).
• Experience collaborating with development teams.
• Experience with lifecycle tools (GitHub, SonarQube).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, GCP Monitoring).
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance.
• Enjoy learning and teaching others.
• Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience with AI tools like Copilot, Claude Code.

Job Title: MLOps Developer

What you will be doing:

• Work closely with developers and the DevOps team to oversee deployments and code releases

• Maintain, own, and improve the build and deploy pipeline

• Administration and automation of the AWS and GCP infrastructure and environments

• Continuously improve the tooling, applications and environments

• Work within an agile framework, contributing to the delivery of high-quality products.

• Work directly with the application development team’s tech lead and/or product owner to prioritization of infrastructure and DevOps tasks to meet the team’s business roadmap

• Understand the requirement of new feature request from other teams from the Toronto Factory, the Lab, the Paris teams and cybersecurity stakeholders, providing feedback from the DevOps team’s perspective and work on the implementation

• Develop and improve operational practices and procedures

• Actively participate in code reviews, testing, and champion best software development practices.

• Investigate and adopt new technologies including use of AI and agents when appropriate

• Provide guidance to the junior team members

• Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement within the team.

• Communicate complex technical and business concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related technical fields

• 5+ years experience as an DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer in a cloud development environment

• 5+ years experience in administering GCP or AWS

• Very good understanding of DevOps concepts, techniques, tools and culture

• Expert in UNIX/Linux operating system.

• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code to manage and provision infrastructure

• Strong understanding of Cloud Networking VPC/Subnets, Load balancers, WAF and DNS management across multiple environments

• Experience with secrets management and IAM least privilege design across multiple accounts/projects

• Experience working on CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GCP Cloud Build, etc.

• Familiarity with Security and Compliance tooling such as Guardduty, AWS Config, Crowdstrike, Tanium etc is nice to have

• Prior experience working closely with or being embedded with development teams

• Experience with Software Development lifecycles tools such as github, SonarQube and etc.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, GCP monitoring or similar for high availability and performant production applications

• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices

• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Enjoy collaborating, learning from your colleagues, and teaching others.

• Scripting languages such as Bash or Python

• Experience working on AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code and etc.

Salary/Rate Range: $115,000.00 – $120,000.00
