Job summary

Nordex Group seeks a Technical Advisor in Canada to support HSE compliance and quality during Wind Turbine Generator installation and finishing. You will guide the customer's BOP contractor, verify mechanical and electrical activities, and ensure smooth handover to Commissioning and Service teams.

This role requires WTG on-site assembly experience, English and French proficiency, a valid driver's license, willingness to travel internationally, and the ability to spend substantial time at wind

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years supervisory experience in mechanical/electrical/construction; wind farm preferred.
• WTG on-site assembly experience required.
• Excellent technical and communication skills; able to build customer relationships.
• English and French proficiency; German/Spanish a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally, Canada-USA and beyond.
• Ability to work in Canada with no sponsorship; US training travel.
• 100% on-site at wind farms during construction.
• Valid driver’s license; insurable under policy.
• Weight limit of 120 kg for climbing.

Responsibilities

• HSE compliance throughout WTG installation and finishing.
• Guide BOP contractor to meet Nordex quality standards.
• Provide mechanical and electrical technical support.
• Document deviations with UPVISE and report progress.
• Oversee reception, use and handover of Nordex tooling.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks (incoming goods, gates, walkdowns).
• Assist in documentation for handover to customer and BOP contractor.
• Maintain positive relationship with the customer's BOP contractor.
• Prepare UPVISE Daily Progress Reports with live updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
