The role requires a high school diploma and safety certifications, with 0–1 year wind industry experience preferred. The position involves outdoor work, travel for training, and a competitive CAD hourly pay with a bonus opportunity.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent plus safety certifications.
• Wind/electrical/mechanical/technical education is an asset.
• 0–1 year wind industry experience preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for onboarding and training.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on wind turbines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to support turbine performance.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, hazard assessments, and PPE usage.
• Complete maintenance reports, service documentation, and work orders.
• Support 24/7 wind farm operations, including on-call, overtime, and rotating shifts.
• Assist with equipment inspections, root cause analysis, and system upgrades.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and required certifications.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.
