Job summary

ENERCON is seeking Wind Turbine Technicians to join our local maintenance service teams on site in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs to ensure wind turbine systems operate safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree or certification in electromechanics or wind turbine maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel for regional and national maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in electromechanics, electricity, or maintenance of wind turbines.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Journeyman electrician with Red Seal is an asset.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to overtime, weekend on-call, and travel.
• Ability to travel for multi-day maintenance at other sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine maintenance tasks on wind turbine systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose electrical/mechanical issues and implement repairs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with the team.
• Use diagnostic tools and document work digitally.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to safety programs.
• Attend ENERCON training sessions on health, safety, and methods.
• Inspect and maintain ENERCON vehicles before use.
• Travel to assist wind parks regionally or across Canada.
• Perform daily tasks in compliance with ENERCON quality and safety standards.
