Job summary

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is seeking a Winch Snowcat Operator to groom and maintain ski runs and terrain parks in a dynamic mountain environment. You will operate a winch snowcat, perform pre-start checks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while supporting guest needs.

Ideal candidates have 2-3 years of snowcat experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather, including nights. This role involves teamwork and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years snowcat operator experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record check.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Grooming assigned runs, trails, lift ramps/terminals and perform snow gun moves as directed.
• Report unusual conditions or equipment issues to supervisor.
• Operate winch snowcat per grooming manual and safety procedures.
• Perform pre-startup inspections and post-operational documentation.
• Interact with guests and provide lift/run information and handle complaints courteously.
