Job summary

Pete's Frootique in Bedford, Nova Scotia is seeking an Order Picker to accurately assemble customer orders, ensure freshness, and prepare items for delivery across Halifax and nearby areas.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain organized fulfillment, and support inventory, with standing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and a commitment to food safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.
• Produce experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Communicate with customers by phone to confirm orders and provide excellent service.
• Maintain organized, accurate order fulfillment processes.
• Assist with inventory organization and stock rotation as needed.
• Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other store operations and perform additional duties as required.

What You'll Do

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet Pete's high standards for freshness and quality.
• Communicate with customers by phone to confirm orders, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment processes.
• Assist with inventory organization and stock rotation as needed.
• Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other store operations and perform additional duties as required.
