Job summary

ADM in Port Colborne, Ontario seeks a Plant Superintendent – Wheat Milling to lead 95 unionized hourly employees and 18 managers. You will drive safety, quality, and operational performance while delivering cost efficiency and production goals.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will champion continuous improvement, Lean practices, and cross-functional collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to optimize equipment reliability and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 5–8 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in food processing or flour milling preferred.
• Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisors and production teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain.
• Coach and develop supervisors and employees, manage shift communication.
