Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Managing Director, Valuations & Advisory Services, Western Canada to lead a high-performance team across British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba. You will drive strategy, strengthen client relationships, and expand revenue while ensuring quality and risk management.

You will recruit top talents, advance new technologies, and deliver value to clients and communities in a dynamic market. This leadership role requires senior expertise and strategic execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related discipline.
• Approximately 12–15 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate.
• AACI designation and professional credentials.
• Proven success leading valuation/advisory or related professional services business.
• Experience with P&L responsibility and strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead Valuations & Advisory Services across Western Canada with regional strategy for revenue, market share and profitability.
• Own regional P&L performance including budgeting, forecasting, and investments.
• Acquire new clients and expand key relationships and cross-service opportunities.
• Recruit and retain high-performing appraisers and professionals while fostering an inclusive workplace.
• Champion technology, data and innovative practices to improve productivity and client experience.
• Monitor market and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure Canada-wide training, QA and risk management aligned with standards, including CUSPAP.
• Build Colliers’ profile across Western Canada through client and market relationships.
