Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Winder in Brampton, ON to join our transformer manufacturing team. You will operate winding machines, read orders and drawings, and learn welding and brazing after training. This is a contract to hire, onsite position with day shifts and potential overtime.

Full training is provided, and you will work in a clean, organized manufacturing environment with a supportive team and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience.
• Experience setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Comfortable learning welding and brazing processes.
• Ability to work independently after training.

Winder - Day Shift

Build Transformer Coils. Grow Your Career.

We're hiring a Winder to join our transformer manufacturing team. In this role, you'll operate winding machines, work with copper and aluminum components, and help build custom transformer coils. Full training is provided, including welding and brazing.

Shift

• Monday to Friday
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Overtime available

What You'll Do

• Operate winding machines to build transformer coils
• Read work orders, drawings, and build sheets
• Set up and adjust equipment for different products
• Cut, bend, and connect wire leads using hand tools
• Learn and perform TIG welding and copper brazing

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of manufacturing or machine operation experience

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
