Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Electromechanical Assembler I for Delta, BC. This contract-to-hire role focuses on mounting and basic wiring of components, building sub-assemblies, and advancing wiring skills under supervision.

You will read and follow schematics and blueprints, use standard hand and power tools, perform continuity checks, and support sub-assembly production with clean, organized work habits in a fully onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Familiarity with wiring schematic symbols.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.

• Perform functionality checks by conducting continuity checks such as buzzing out.
• Complete required checklists.
• Assemble enclosures and structures where applicable.
• Deliver sub-assemblies to production areas.
• Support inventory maintenance in the sub-assembly area by performing cycle counts and following standard materials procedures.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm in a production environment, utilizing both hand and power tools for assembly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delta, BC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
