Job summary

Thermea Spa Village Whitby in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking a Full-time Server for an 18-month contract. You will provide attentive, fast, unobtrusive service in a unique dining experience and help guests feel welcomed in our wellness village.

Reporting to the F&B Management Team, you will greet guests, take orders, prepare beverages and invoices, restock stations, and assist with opening/closing checklists in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum two years of high-volume serving experience.
• Hospitality diploma an asset.
• POS system experience an asset.
• Knowledge of wine characteristics and pairings is an asset.
• Ability to work long hours on your feet and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, take orders.
• Provide fast, courteous service for a memorable experience.
• Prepare and serve beverages, wine, and spirits.
• Prepare invoices and collect payment.
• Keep service stations and dining areas clean and stocked.
• Perform opening and closing task checklists; other duties.
