Job summary

Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking two courteous servers to deliver attentive, unobtrusive service in a resort-like spa setting. You will engage guests with a memorable dining experience, supporting our wellness culture through warm hospitality and teamwork.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years in high-volume serving; hospitality or wine knowledge is a plus. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend/evening shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; minimum of two years of high-volume serving experience.
• Hospitality Diploma is an asset; POS experience is an asset; knowledge of wine pairings is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to listen to guest needs; positive attitude and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, suggest items and take orders.
• Provide fast, courteous service to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Prepare and serve beverages, wine and spirits according to standards.
• Prepare invoices and collect payment.
• Organize, clean and restock service stations and dining areas.
• Perform opening and closing task checklists.
• Perform other related duties.
