Thermea Spa Village Whitby is seeking two part-time servers to join our wellness village in Whitby, Ontario. You will provide attentive, efficient, and unobtrusive service, creating a memorable dining experience for guests and supporting our culture through the pillars of wellness and natural immersion.

Reporting to the F&B Management Team, you will greet guests, take orders, serve beverages, prepare invoices, and ensure stations are organized and clean.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and experience in high-volume serving are required.
• Diploma in hospitality is an asset.
• Experience with a POS system is an asset.
• Knowledge of wine characteristics and pairings is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to listen to guest needs.
• Positive attitude, autonomy, dynamism and detail‑oriented.
• Genuine care for the wellbeing of others.
• Good physical condition: ability to work long hours on your feet and lift 50 lbs (23 kg).

Part-time Server at Thermea Spa Village Whitby

What We Need

Reporting to the F&B Management Team, the Server’s main responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, serving guests quickly and efficiently by providing an attentive and unobtrusive service in a unique and memorable dining experience.

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, offer suggestions and take orders;

• Prepare and serve beverages, wine and spirits according to established standards;
• Prepare invoices and collects payment;
• Effectively organize, clean and restock service stations and dining areas;
• Perform opening and closing task checklists;
• Perform other related duties.

Profile needed

• High School Diploma;
• Minimum of two (2) year of high volume experience in serving required;
• Diploma in hospitality, an asset;
• Experience with a POS system, an asset;
• Knowledge wine characteristics and pairings, an asset;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to listen to guest needs;
• Positive attitude, autonomy, dynamism and detail‑oriented;
• You genuinely care for the wellbeing of others;
• Good physical condition: ability to work long hours on your feet and ability to lift 50lbs (23kg).

When

You will work a varying schedule which requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings holidays.

Compensation

• Hourly rate $17.60
