Job summary

Roska DBO Inc. is seeking Well Testing Operators to join our field team in Alberta. You will support Senior Operators and Supervisors, performing rig-up/rig-down, data collection, and equipment troubleshooting in a fast-paced field environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of well testing or production testing experience, strong mechanical skills, and a willingness to work extended rotations away from home. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass screenings are required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate concerns to the Senior Operator or Supervisor.

Job description

Roska Production Testing is hiring Well Testing Operators with 1 to 5 years of well testing experience. This is a hands-on field operator role supporting Senior Operators and Supervisors; it is well suited to operators who want to strengthen their technical skills and build further experience in production testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Operator and/or Supervisor by following direction and completing work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures
• Complete rig-up and rig-down of test equipment and indicating instruments in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and P&IDs
• Develop and apply a working knowledge of well testing processes and surface test equipment
• Monitor equipment controls and instrumentation; accurately record, verify, and communicate test data for engineering and client use
• Perform preventative maintenance and safely operate, repair, and maintain surface test equipment within established operating parameters
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate operational concerns to the Senior Operator and/or Supervisor
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment

What You Bring

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and meet client-site access requirements, including additional screening or background checks where required
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties of a field-based well testing role, including lifting, equipment handling, and extended shifts
• Willing and able to work away from home for extended periods, typically on a 21-days-on, 7-days-off rotation
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada

Assets

• Experience with well testing software, MS Office, and related computer applications
• Experience working with surface test equipment, instrumentation, and control systems
• Familiarity with P&IDs and operating procedures
