Job summary

Roska DBO Inc. in Grande Prairie, AB, is seeking Well Testing Operators with 1–5 years of well testing experience to join our field team supporting Senior Operators and Supervisors.

You will perform rig-up/rig-down, monitor data, maintain equipment, and follow safety procedures, typically on a 21-days-on, 7-days-off rotation, with opportunities to develop technical skills in production testing.

Qualifications

• One to five years of well testing or production testing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Ability to remain focused, use sound judgment, and make decisions under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow direction, take initiative, and work effectively in a fast-paced field environment.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and a clean driver’s abstract
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and meet client-site access requirements, including additional screening or background checks where required
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties of a field-based well testing role, including lifting, equipment handling, and extended shifts
• Willing and able to work away from home for extended periods, typically on a 21-days-on, 7-days-off rotation
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Operator and/or Supervisor by following direction and completing work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures
• Complete rig-up and rig-down of test equipment and indicating instruments in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and P&IDs
• Develop and apply a working knowledge of well testing processes and surface test equipment
• Monitor equipment controls and instrumentation; accurately record, verify, and communicate test data for engineering and client use
• Perform preventative maintenance and safely operate, repair, and maintain surface test equipment within established operating parameters
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate operational concerns to the Senior Operator and/or Supervisor
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements to maintain a safe work environment

Roska Production Testing is hiring Well Testing Operators with 1 to 5 years of well testing experience. This is a hands-on field operator role supporting Senior Operators and Supervisors; it is well suited to operators who want to strengthen their technical skills and build further experience in production testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience working with surface test equipment, instrumentation, and control systems
