Job summary

BWS Manufacturing Ltd in Centreville, New Brunswick, is seeking an experienced welder for on-site fabrication roles. The successful candidate will interpret welding specifications and operate a range of welding equipment, reading blueprints and process documents to ensure welds meet exacting standards.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of welding experience, a trades certificate or diploma (or equivalent experience), and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced metal products

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Read blueprint, schemas and drawings.
• Work with minimal supervision.
